My mum was struggling living by herself at home. She has several falls and was not eating properly; she was getting more and more depressed by the day. After a long stay in the hospital, she agreed to try a care home. My sister and I visited several care homes that were depressing to visit, let alone live in. When we found Ryefield, it was like a 5-star hotel. My mum’s health and happiness have vastly improved, and she enjoys the company of all the staff and residents.
Ryefield is extremely well managed with compassion and safety joint priority. Since the pandemic, families have had regular updates, garden visits introduced, and recently, the installation of a garden pod, which is wonderful for visits. The staff are very well led by the manager, and all are very caring and attentive. Every priority is for the resident’s health and wellbeing.
Ryefield Court is the true meaning of a care home. It feels and looks like home and the staff really do care. They are like family to the resident when the family cannot be there. Have no hesitation in recommending it to others and the staff have my very grateful thanks for the love shown to my husband.
It was not an easy decision to place my father in care, but at least I have the comfort of knowing that I have found the kindest and best place for him. Thank you to everyone at Ryefield Court - you’re all amazing!
Visitors are given a warm welcome at reception. Drinks and snacks or even a meal is available to make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable. My grandmother is treated with great care, friendliness and respect by all staff. They are aware of and cater to her needs and always encourage her to be as active as possible.
